Amy Hooper is an award winning singer/songwriter, writer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Austin, Texas. Originally trained as a flutist, her musical background includes a diverse array of genres such as classical, piano pop, and Americana. A prolific songwriter, she co-writes with many artists such as Chris Beall, Candy Coburn, Jo James, and The South Austin Moonlighters. Cowrites for the Moonlighters’ include the 2019 #1 alt-country hit title track “Travel Light” and fan favorites “Cartersville Rain” and “Delta Man”. Her classical roots show through collaborations with Austin and Nashville’s finest orchestral musicians. Amy connects with listeners on a deep emotional level to inspire, explore truth, and encourage. She also writes about music, faith, and life on Substack as @amyhoopermusic.
